Russians remove animals from Askaniia-Nova reserve

The occupation administration is taking animals from the Kherson Nature Reserve Askaniia-Nova and transporting them to the Krasnodar Safari Park.

The National Resistance Centre reports.

The Russians export the animals under the so-called "cooperation agreement". The agreement is not valid, as it is signed by a Russian "representative" who is not the head of the Ukrainian reserve.

Earlier, Russian military personnel had also been spotted on the reserve's territory.

Before the full-scale invasion, Askaniia Nova was home to more than 500 species of plants and over three thousand species of animals. Among them are antelopes, llamas, bison, ostriches, zebras, deer, camels, Przewalski's wild horses, etc. The reserve is currently under occupation.
