Russian troops killed a child in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region in southern Ukraine.
This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, at a press conference, the regional publication Most reports.
"I received a report from a community on the left bank that the Russian occupiers had killed an eighth-grade student in one of the settlements," Prokudin said.
The boy was killed in front of his family because he allegedly took a picture of something forbidden.
After her son was killed, his mother tried to commit suicide.
The school principal filed a statement with the police. He plans to appeal to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.
Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russians are conducting night searches and arrests in the temporarily occupied areas of the Kherson region.
They are trying to find locals with a pro-Ukrainian position. People are arrested and taken for interrogation to torture chambers.
