Russians expel residents of the Kherson region from their surviving homes to deploy the military

In the flooded settlements of the Kherson region, Russians are forcibly expelling locals from their surviving homes to accommodate the military - General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Russian military allows only people with Russian passports to evacuate from flooded settlements.

To recap, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also says that Russians are not trying to help people in the temporarily occupied territories. The ZMINA Human Rights Centre reports that Russians are blocking the evacuation from Oleshky for people without Russian passports.

Ukraine and the UN agreed on the formation of groups to provide humanitarian aid and evacuate people on Livoberezhzhia (the Left Bank).
