Russians continue to mine Zaporizhzhia NPP - the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine
Russian troops continue to plant explosives on the territory of the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.
This was reported by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
Currently, mines and explosives are being delivered to the territory of ZNPP. The Russians are installing minefields in technical rooms and machine rooms. These obstacles consist of remotely controlled and unguided directional mines.
Russians mostly use Soviet-style directional mines.
At the same time, the Russians are planning to take away housing from the residents of Enerhodar to encourage Russians to work at the ZNPP.
On July 6, Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Kirilenko arrived at ZNPP.
"The official purpose of Kirilenko's visit is to get acquainted with the state of affairs at the plant and check general safety. Unofficially, it is to demonstrate the absence of panic, as well as to try to resolve issues related to staffing the station," Ukrainian intelligence officers say.
By distributing housing to Russians, the Russian leadership wants to encourage them to work at the station. They plan to settle up to 4,500 Russians in Enerhodar alone.
