Russians attacked Kherson, Nikopol, and the Odesa region on the night of August 23

Local authorities reported this.

In Kherson, the Russian army dropped two guided bombs on a kindergarten and residential buildings. Six people were wounded. One man was hospitalised. 

Later, the Russians shelled Kherson with Grad MLRS. One person was killed. A hospital and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged.

In the Odesa region, a drone hit production and transshipment facilities. Grain storage facilities were damaged. There were no casualties.

The Russian army attacked Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region twice — with a drone and with heavy artillery. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

In total, the Russians launched 20 Shahed-136/131 UAVs, 11 of which were destroyed by the Air Defence Forces.
