Russian shelling kills one civilian and wounds another 36 over the past 24 hours
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians launched attacks on Kupiansk, and Lisne in the Derhachi district, Hlushkivka, and Lisne in the Kharkiv district, Ruska Lozova, Podoly, Ivanchukivka and Senkove. Five people suffered injuries. There was also damage to private houses.
In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, the Russian army shelled Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Lyman, Selidove, Toretsk, Hrodivka, Zhelanne, Kurakhivka, Yampil, Holubivka, Kleban-Byk, Kostiantynopilske, Malynivka in the Kramatorsk district, Malynivka in the Pokrovsk district, Perebudova, Rozdolne, Sontsivka and Trudove. 15 people sustained injuries. There were 45 residential buildings, shops, a post office, a cafe, a forestry, cars, and critical infrastructure damaged.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians fired 16 times at the Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Nova Sloboda and Esman communities. Critical infrastructure facilities came under attack. There are no casualties.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians shelled the Semenivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi communities. Border guards recorded 20 explosions.
In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, Russians fired on the waters of the Ochakiv community and the city of Ochakiv. Four people have been reported injured. In addition, an apartment building got damaged.
In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, Kherson, Novodmitrivka, Beryslav, Novoberyslav, Sadove, Kreshchenivka, Odradokamianka, Stanislav, Antonivka, Shyroka Balka, Oleksandrivka, Veletenske, Havrylivka, Prydniprovske and Lvove came under fire. Thirty private houses, a commercial establishment, a gas pipeline and private cars sustained damage. The shelling killed one person and injured seven others.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region in south-central Ukraine, the Russians launched strikes against Nikopol, next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located, and also the Marhanets, Pokrovske, Chervonohryhorivka, and Myrove communities. Five people suffered injuries. Two five-storey buildings, private houses, two outbuildings, a car, shops, a kiosk, a laboratory, as well as private and municipal enterprises suffered damage.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians struck Nevske and Makiivka. No casualties were reported.
Russians conducted 463 attacks on eleven settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, partially occupied since 2022. They are Novoandriivka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Prymorske, Orikhove, Preobrazhenka and Dolynka. There are 19 reports of residential buildings and infrastructure being destroyed. No casualties were reported.
