Russian shelling kills four and wounds 14 civilians overnight
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russian army shelled Kupiansk, Pershotravneve, Lozova and Khatnie, damaging private houses and utility buildings. One person suffered injuries.
In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, the Russian army launched 2,785 attacks on Lyman, Novohrodivka, Siversk, Toretsk, Hrodivka, Rih and Predtechyne. Four people were killed and five others were injured. Twenty-five residential houses, administrative buildings, and vehicles sustained damage.
In the Sumy region bordering Russia to the north, the Russian army fired 15 times at the Mykolaiivka, Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Shalyhyne, Esman, Druzhba and Seredyna-Buda communities. The military recorded 51 explosions. No casualties were reported.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians fired at Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka communities with mortars and cannon artillery. No casualties were reported.
In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, the Russians shelled the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities. No casualties were reported.
In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, Antonivka, Komyshany, Chornobaivka, Prydniprovske, Kizomys, Bilozerka, Veletenske, Romashkove, Beryslav, Lvove, Tyahynka, Novotiahynka, Shliakhove, Zmiivka and Kherson came under Russian attack. Eight people suffered injuries. A high-rise building, 24 private houses and gas pipelines were damaged.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine, the Russian army shelled Nikopol, next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located. The Pokrovske, Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities also came under fire. Infrastructure and power lines were damaged. No casualties were reported.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russians fired 440 times at Bilenke, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka and Novoandriivka. There are 11 reports of residential buildings being destroyed. No casualties were reported.
