Russian military shell Kherson in the morning

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

The Russians first hit St Catherine's Cathedral. Three people who were passing by on public transport were injured. One of them, a 75-year-old man, is in serious condition.

Rescuers began working at the site. After that, the Russians fired at the Cathedral for the second time, injuring four State Emergency Service employees who extinguished the fire. The rescuers' special equipment was also damaged.

All the wounded were taken to hospital.
