Russian Defence Ministry claims another attack by allegedly Ukrainian drones

Russia claims an attack by Ukrainian drones. This is stated in a statement by the Russian Ministry of Defence.

Russian air defence allegedly shot down 41 drones, 15 of which were intercepted over the Sea of Azov and the territory of Crimea (Qırım), temporarily occupied since 2014.

At the same time, the pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel Krymskyi Viter reported that the Russian shipyard Zaliv in the temporarily occupied Kerch, located in the east of the Crimean Peninsula, was allegedly damaged.

The Telegram channel also reported an attack on a Russian oil depot in Feodosia.

According to Krymskyi Viter 's sources, the Offshore Oil Terminal was attacked by two UAVs. Earlier, they reported the deployment of a Russian Pantsyr-S1 surface-to-air missile system at the terminal. Local reports also indicated explosions in the areas of Feodosia, Old Crimea, and Simferopol (Aqmescit).

In addition, the Kerch Bridge, which Russia uses to reinforce its troops in Crimea, was blocked for more than four hours on the night of December 5.

It will be recalled that on October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Kerch Bridge. One more explosion took place on July 17, 2023. In August 2023, the head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk, confirmed the involvement of Ukrainian special services in both attacks on the bridge.
