Russian Black Sea Fleet conducts military exercises

The Russian Ministry of Defence reported this.

Russian missile ships allegedly practised isolating the "temporarily closed to navigation area of the Black Sea."

"The crew of the Ivanovets missile boat carried out live firing with anti-ship cruise missiles at a target ship at a training range in the northwestern part of the Black Sea," the statement said.

It will be recalled that the Russian Ministry of Defence announced that starting from July 20, it would consider vessels sailing in the Black Sea to Ukrainian ports as supposedly "potential carriers of military cargo." The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine issued a similar statement in response. Starting July 21, the Ukrainian side will consider all vessels heading to Russian or occupied ports as potential targets.
