Russia is trying to buy ammunition for Soviet artillery systems from Central Asian republics

Russia is trying to use the resources of Central Asian countries in the war against Ukraine, first of all, the Russian army seeks to replenish stocks of Soviet ammunition and spare parts for military equipment. 

This was reported by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

The Kremlin appealed to the Ministry of Defenсe of Tajikistan with a request for the transfer of shells and ammunition.

In addition, Russians recruit military from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to participate in the war against Ukraine.
