Russia is likely to receive larger quantities of kamikaze drones — British Intelligence

Russia used to receive small shipments of drones by air, according to a report by the British Ministry of Defence. Now, the Russians have switched to larger shipments from Iran via the Caspian Sea.

The Russian Federation is likely investing in drones because it provides them with a cheap, long-range strike capability.

The intelligence service notes that Russia is also working on launching domestic drone production, probably with Iranian support.

Earlier, journalists of the British TV channel Sky News published a document that may indicate the supply of weapons from Iran to Russia. The document was handed over to journalists by their own sources, claiming that "the contract is 100% authentic".

In May, Ukrainian air defence units shot down over 250 air targets, including 169 Iranian drones.

On June 10, three people were killed in an attack by Iranian drones in Odesa. Drone debris hit a high-rise building. 26 people were injured.
