Russia is increasing the number of troops on the border with Sumy and Chernihiv regions. On the night of May 25, Russians attacked nine regions of Ukraine

Russians shelled Kharkiv with S-300 systems on the night of May 25. A lyceum and a supermarket were damaged, and windows in apartment buildings were smashed.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians shelled Borova, Korotych, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Mala Danylivka, Zolochiv, Verkhnia Pysarivka and Kupiansk. Two people were injured.

In the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russians attacked nine settlements. The towns of Krasnohorivka, Toretsk, Siversk, the villages of Drobysheve, Novozhelanne, Zelene Pole, Illinivka, Rubtsi and Tarasivka were hit. Two people were injured, and three were killed. 

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians continue to attack the villages of Nevske, Stelmakhivka, Novoliubivka, Kuzemivka, and Makiivka. Forests and fields are burning because of the constant shelling.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in southcentral Ukraine, the Russians shelled Nikopol, the communities of Marhanets, Pokrovsk and Chervonohryhorivka with artillery and attack drones. Three people were injured in Nikopol.

The Russians launched 342 attacks on settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been partially occupied in the south since 2022, using aircraft, artillery and MLRS. Mala Tokmachka, Verbove, Robotyne, Huliaipole, Levadne, Malynivka, Novoandriivka and Novoprokopivka were hit. 12 private houses were damaged. There were no casualties.

The Russians shelled the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities in the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine with artillery and mortars. There were no casualties.

In the Kherson region, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians shelled Antonivka, Inzhenerne, Dniprovske, Yantarne, Prydniprovske, Chornobaivka, Komyshany, Poniativka, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Tiahynka, Burhunka and the city of Kherson. The port infrastructure, a hotel, and eight private houses were damaged. There were no casualties.

In the Sumy region in the north of Ukraine, bordering Russia, the Russians shelled the communities of Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Richkivka, Krasnopillia, Miropillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, and Znob-Novgorod. They used artillery, mortars, attack drones, and Grad multiple rocket launchers. There was no information on casualties.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians shelled the border communities of Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk with mortars and artillery. There were no casualties.
