Russia fired 70 drones and missiles at Ukraine on the night of August 6

The press service of the Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

During the first wave of the attack, the Russian army fired 14 Kalibr cruise missiles and three Kinzhal air-to-ground missiles. 12 Kalibr missiles were shot down.

Later, the Russians used 27 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs. All of them were eliminated. The Russian army also fired six Kalibr missiles, five of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defence forces, as well as 20 Kh-101/Kh-555 missiles, 13 of which were destroyed.

Explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi and Rivne regions. Local authorities reported air defence work.
