Russia damaged the pumping station that was supposed to supply Mykolaiv with water —Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych

Technical water will be supplied to the city from the Bug estuary for an indefinite period of time.

"Yes, we were all waiting for the de-occupation of Kherson and other temporarily captured lands of ours.  After that, promptly, literally in a week, the water supply was repaired.  "But we are dealing with real terrorists, who are powerless against our military, and therefore fight with the civilian population," Sienkevych writes.

Restoration work is planned to begin as soon as it is safe to do so.
