Russia damaged approximately ten blocks of historic buildings in Odesa's central historical area as a result of the night attack

On the night of August 14, Russians damaged approximately ten blocks of historic buildings in the city's central historic area.

The press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine reported this.

Among other things, the industrial buildings of the Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre were damaged.

In total, 30 cultural heritage sites in Odesa were damaged.

"Mostly the glass of window openings was smashed, interior and exterior decorations were destroyed, and window frames were damaged," the Ministry of Culture stated.
