As a result of the attack, fires broke out at the port and industrial infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region. A grain elevator was also damaged.

The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported this.

"The most significant [damage] is in the south of the country. Russian terrorists again hit ports, grain, and global food security," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the night attack.

He also added that there were no casualties.

It will be recalled that on July 27, Russians already attacked the port infrastructure in Odesa. Then the Russian military damaged the manufacturing equipment of one of the port's cargo terminals. One person was killed.
