Russia allocates about $6 million for an information operation to discredit Ukraine and its military and political leadership — DIU

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has reported that Russia has prepared a series of provocative materials aimed at shifting responsibility for the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP dam to Ukraine. 

Each article will contain comments from fake accounts, allegedly from Ukrainian and foreign users. This is supposed to create an impression of a "live" discussion and engage real Internet users in the discussion.

Russians prepared headlines of publications with a clickbait nature that contain direct accusations of the military and political leadership, in particular, the President of Ukraine.

It will be recalled that the interception by the Security Service of Ukraine shows that the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant was blown up by a Russian sabotage group.
