Romanian President denies crash of Russian drones on the territory of the country
Klaus Iohannis has not confirmed that Russian Shahed drones fell on Romanian territory during the attack on the port of Izmail, Odesa region, on the night of September 4.
The Romanian President said this at a press conference, Romanian television reports.
According to him, “There was no part, no drone, no part of any device that ended up in Romania.”
“We have full control over our national airspace, we have checked absolutely everything, and I can reassure the population: nothing has entered Romania," Klaus Iohannis said.
It will be recalled that earlier, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine had photographic evidence that the missiles had fallen in Romania.
