Polish Foreign Ministry Paweł Jabłoński says current relations with Ukraine are "not the best"

Paweł Jabłoński says that the state of Ukrainian-Polish relations "has not been the best lately".

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland said this on the air of the Polish media outlet RMF 24.

Jabłoński explained this assessment by "some statements by representatives of the Ukrainian authorities".

According to the deputy minister, there are many issues on which Poland and Ukraine "cannot agree".

"I have the impression that there are some emotions. We understand, of course, because the state is under attack, but it should not attack its allies either," the Deputy Minister said.

As a reminder, on August 1, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine summoned the Polish ambassador because of the statements made by the head of the Presidential Bureau of International Policy, Marcin Przydacz. Commenting on the restrictions on imports of Ukrainian grain crops, Przydacz said, "It would be worthwhile to start appreciating the role that Poland has played for Ukraine in recent months and years".

In response, the Polish Foreign Ministry also summoned Ukraine's ambassador to Poland.
