Poland was invited to Defence Industries Forum in Ukraine on September 29 but did not participate
Ukraine's Ambassador to Poland, Vasyl Zvarych, said that the Poles were among the first to receive an invitation to the Defence Industries Forum in Kyiv, but the country did not attend the event.
Zvarych said this in an interview with TVN 24.
"This is a sovereign decision of each country. We send an invitation, and a country decides whether to accept it or not based on its interests. So we respect such decisions, but this is not a reason to blame Ukraine for the fact that Poland was not present," the Ukrainian ambassador said.
It will be recalled that on September 30, Zelenskyy announced the creation of the Alliance of Defence Industries during the first International Forum, which was attended by more than 250 defence companies from 30 countries.
The Alliance of Defence Industries has already been joined by 13 companies that are ready to cooperate with Ukraine in arms production.
