On the night of July 19, Russia targeted grain terminals and infrastructure in the Odesa and Chornomorsk ports

During the night shelling on July 19, Russia attacked grain terminals and infrastructure in the Odesa and Chornomorsk ports.

This was reported by the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development.

The grain infrastructure of international and Ukrainian traders and carriers Kernel, Viterra, and CMA CGM Group was damaged.

This infrastructure was involved in the operation of the "grain corridor" for some time.

The shelling damaged the tanks and berths of the Odesa port.

"The attack on grain terminals is an act of aggression against the world. The goal of Russian terrorists is to destroy any means of supplying grain to world markets. The terrorist state is at war not only with Ukraine but also with the people of Africa and Asia, for whom this grain is a matter of survival. Grain and port infrastructure must be protected by the world. This is a guarantee, first and foremost, for the world's food security," said Oleksandr Kubrakov, Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.
