On January 21, Brovary said goodbye to 5-year-old Milana Ponomarenko and her mother Olena, who died on January 18 in a helicopter crash — the media outlet Tribuna Brovary

The 5-year-old girl was a gymnast, and her mother worked in a logistics company as a deputy chief accountant. 

"Hundreds of Brovary residents, as well as Mayor Ihor Sapozhko, came to say goodbye to the dead mother and daughter," the report says. 

As reported, on January 18, a helicopter of the State Emergency Service crashed in Brovary, killing, among others, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the First Deputy Minister and the State Secretary.

On January 21, a funeral ceremony for the deceased Interior Ministry employees was also held in Kyiv.
