Ombudsman of Georgia publishes opinion on Saakashvili's health condition
Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia has issued a Conclusion by an expert group of doctors on the health of former President Mikheil Saakashvili.
This was reported by the Ombudsman's press service.
The report states, "a gradual slow dynamic towards deterioration is maintained".
Saakashvili's neurological condition has not changed. According to an expert group of doctors, the former President of Georgia continues to suffer from cognitive deficits, ataxia, hypoesthesia and loss of strength.
"Electrolyte imbalance is also an expression of nutritional deficiency," the report also says.
The group of doctors notes that they have no comments to make to the clinic's management as they continue to treat Saakashvili symptomatically. The group of doctors calls this approach "pragmatic".
The next visit of the doctors to Saakashvili is scheduled for September 2023.
