Norway and Türkiye express readiness to join the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula on nuclear and radiation safety and food security respectively

During the summit in Jeddah, Head of the Presidential Office Andrii Yermak met in a bilateral format with representatives of delegations from the United States, Saudi Arabia, Finland, Japan, Qatar, France, Germany, Spain, Norway, Türkiye, Poland, and Slovakia.

For example, Andrii Yermak met with Kjersti Andersen, Director General of the International Department of the Norwegian Prime Minister's Office. During the summit, Norway expressed its readiness to join the implementation of the radiation and nuclear safety section.

"The head of the OP also thanked Norway for its significant assistance in countering Russia's aggression, including the approval of a five-year programme of humanitarian and security support for Ukraine," the statement added.

During the summit, Türkiye expressed its readiness to become a leader in the implementation of the food security clause of the Peace Formula.

At the bilateral meeting, Andrii Yermak and Turkish Presidential Advisor Akif Kilic also discussed Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration and security guarantees for its membership in the Alliance.

The Ukrainian Peace Formula Summit was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on August 5-6.
