North Korea moves 1000 containers of military equipment and ammunition to Russia — The White House

John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator of the US National Security Council, says this, according to the Ukrainian service of the Voice of America.

Kirby also published a graphic, which, according to him, shows how the DPRK transferred weapons. First, the equipment was transferred to the Russian Dunay port on the Sea of Japan. Then, the cargo was transported by rail to a warehouse near the city of Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar Territory, 290 kilometres from Ukraine. In total, the arms took almost a month to arrive — from September 7 to October 1.

"We are imposing sanctions on legal entities and individuals associated with arms negotiations between the DPRK and Russia. We will enforce those current sanctions where appropriate, and we will impose new sanctions against those who are seeking to enable these arms deals between the DPRK and Russia to go ahead," Kirby added.

Earlier, satellite images showed an increase in the number of freight cars on the border between Russia and North Korea.
