Nine UNESCO-protected cultural heritage sites damaged in Odesa

On the night of September 25, during an attack on Odesa, Russians damaged cultural heritage sites located in the UNESCO protection zone.

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine reported this.

The Russian military damaged:

  • Vorontsov Palace;
  • House of Marini, Ashkenazi;
  • House of Serato and Verani;
  • Profitable House of Lerche;
  • House of Zontag, the Palace (the volume of the facade building);
  • Lopukhin's Palace, Rally, Londonska Hotel;
  • House of Zolotariov, Masa.

"All crimes committed by Russians are recorded in detail, the enemy will most certainly be held accountable for everything they have done," said Rostyslav Karandieiev, acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

In addition, a culture centre and an art school in the Nerubaiske territorial community of the Odesa region were damaged.

It will be recalled that on the night of September 25, Russians attacked the Odesa region with drones and missiles. Two people were killed.
