Next six months will be largely decisive in the confrontation with Russia — Volodymyr Zelenskyy

In his address to the European Council, the President of Ukraine called on European leaders to ensure the defeat of Russia's energy terror and take care of Ukraine's winter stability.

Zelenskyy noted that the European Union should agree on effective price caps for Russian energy resources to ensure stability in the market and deprive Russia of the ability to finance the war.

The President of Ukraine also notes that Ukraine needs EU assistance to purchase gas and electricity. It is about 2 billion cubic meters of gas and the import of electricity worth EUR 800 million to compensate for the damage caused by Russia.
