NATO accession requirements will not be eased for Ukraine — Biden

US President Joe Biden has said that he is not going to ease the requirements for Ukraine to join NATO. 

CNN reported this.

According to the US president, Ukraine must meet the same standards as other countries.

Biden believes that Ukraine has done everything to demonstrate military coordination. However, there are still questions about the security of the Ukrainian system, as well as questions about corruption. 

"Does it [Ukraine] meet all the standards everyone, every nation in NATO, does? I think it will. I think it (Ukraine's accession to NATO — ed.) can. But it's not automatic," he told reporters.
