Moldovan Prime Minister says Russia plans to seize Chișinău airport to deploy troops

Prime Minister Dorin Recean told Moldova 1 that "there are several destabilisation scenarios. They include several elements." 

As a reminder, on February 9, Volodymyr Zelenskyy handed Maia Sandu an intercepted plan to destroy the political situation in Moldova obtained by Ukrainian intelligence. The Prime Minister has now confirmed these words. 

According to the minister, Moldovan authorities are ready to face such challenges. "Our goal is to ensure peace and stability in the country, including the Transnistrian region. Moldova is in favour of a peaceful settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, and we must harmonise our goals to achieve peace and security," the prime minister said.
