Moldova declared the Russian diplomat persona non grata and expelled him from the country — the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova

The representative of the Russian Embassy in Chișinău has already left the country. Moldova decided to expel the diplomat because of the Russian missile that fell on its territory on October 31 after Ukrainian air defence forces had shot it down.

The ministry noted that "the citizens of Moldova are increasingly experiencing the catastrophic consequences of the war".
