Minister: Half of the weapons from partners are not delivered to Ukraine on time
Kyiv, Ukraine (Svidomi) — Ukraine's Defence Minister Rustem Umerov said that 50% of weapons provided by international partners are not delivered to Ukraine on time. These delays complicate the work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Currently, the allocation of aid does not always mean its provision, as 50% is not delivered on time... Therefore, if the aid allocated [to Ukraine] does not arrive on time, we lose personnel and territory," he said.
The Ukrainian defence minister noted that more than $150 billion of the Russian economy, worth approximately $2 trillion, is used for the war. Therefore, in his opinion, this is a war where the allied powers must provide supplies promptly "because there has never been a war in human history when the war was fought without air superiority."
