Ireland to investigate how a part of its company ended up in a kamikaze drone launched by Russia

The Irish government plans to investigate how a part of its company ended up in a kamikaze drone used by Russia during a night attack on July 18.

Ukrinform reports this with reference to Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar.

On the night of July 18, Russians attacked Mykolaiv with Iranian-made drones. One of them had an engine carburettor with the inscription "Tillotson. Made in Ireland". The photo was published by the Head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak.

"We do not believe that any Irish companies could have violated the sanctions. Perhaps some third party did. We take this very seriously," the Prime Minister of Ireland said at a press conference with Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
