The Russian army is resettling its servicemen in residential buildings with local residents and in the hospital in the temporarily occupied Osypenko, Zaporizhzhia region.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On August 23, up to 1,500 servicemen of Buryat nationality arrived in Osypenko and were accommodated with local residents.

"The Russian occupiers continue to deploy their military personnel in civilian buildings, using the civilian population as human shields," the General Staff commented.
