In September, Russians launched more than 500 Iranian drones into Ukraine

September was a record month for the number of drones launched by Russia.

This was reported on Radio Liberty by Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat.

"The previous highest figure was in May [2023] — 413," Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat told Radio Liberty.

The Russians will increase the production of UAVs, which is an "obvious step" on the part of Russia.

"Missiles may be used less, as they have higher priority targets. Missiles are a much more powerful and expensive weapon than a kamikaze drone. And they take much longer to manufacture at enterprises than a kamikaze drone," Ihnat says.
