In mid-October, during the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the losses of Russian armoured vehicles increased to more than 40 vehicles per day, approximately equal to the number of battalion vehicles. 

Intelligence notes that armoured units and artillery are critical to Russia's method of warfare. Russian troops have problems with the artillery ammunition supply and a sufficient number of serviceable armoured vehicles.
