In London, a flag of Ukraine was painted on the road near the Russian Embassy
In London, activists painted the flag of Ukraine on the road on Bayswater Road, which houses the Russian Embassy — My London.
The action was organised by the activists of Led by Donkeys. It marks the first anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
"Tomorrow will be the first anniversary of Putin's imperialist invasion of Ukraine. Contrary to what the Russian dictator and his apologists claim, Ukraine is an independent state, and the people have every right to self-determination. The presence of a large Ukrainian flag outside his embassy in London will remind him of this," the activists said in a statement.
