In Iran's Evin prison, where protesters are held, there was a fire and shooting -  the Associated Press

It is also reported that prisoners allegedly broke down the doors to get out of their smoke-filled cells, and security forces used tear gas. 

"Radio Liberty also reported about the riots in the prison. Iranian police officers were involved at the scene. Now the order seems to be restored, the fire is being extinguished.

Tehran Public Prosecutor Ali Salehi said that the riots were allegedly not related to the protests that swept the country on September 17.
