In Germany, the police have reportedly found the body of the mother of the murdered 27-year-old Ukrainian woman

Hockenheim / Rhein-Neckar, Germany (Svidomi) — German police have reportedly found the body of the mother of the murdered 27-year-old Ukrainian woman. The body of the 27-year-old Ukrainian woman from Kharkiv, who arrived in Germany as a refugee, was discovered on March 7th.

“In the afternoon of March 19, 2024, police divers found the lifeless body of a woman in a fishing lake near Bad Mingolsheim, who was presumably the missing 51-year-old [Ukrainian]. Based on the information available to us, it can be assumed that she also died as a result of external violence. Results of the autopsy are not yet available,” the prosecutor's office stated.

The 43-year-old Russian woman and the 44-year-old German man were arrested on March 13th on suspicion of murder. They are initially charged with the murder of a 51-year-old grandmother in the evening of March 6, 2024, and a few hours later, her 27-year-old daughter. They kidnapped the five-month-old child. Currently, the child is under the care in a youth centre.

On March 7, 2024, a stroller found the body of a 27-year-old Ukrainian woman near Hockenheim. Later, the police uncovered her five-week-old baby alive, and arrested two suspects. It is known that the female suspect was Russian. The search for the mother of the deceased continued. She was considered the main witness in the case.
