In Germany, on behalf of the consulate of Ukraine, people are sent fake letters calling to join the foreign legion for a monetary reward

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleh Nikolenko, reported this.

Nikolenko stressed that the letters are fake, and the Ukrainian consular office did not send any such messages.

"The consuls have already appealed to the German police to conduct an investigation. We consider the sending of fake letters as part of a disinformation campaign aimed at discrediting Ukrainian diplomacy and undermining support for Ukraine from Germany and its citizens," said the spokesperson of the Ministry.
