Hungary supports Sweden's accession to NATO

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has said that the country supports Sweden's accession to NATO.

He wrote about this on his Facebook page.

Szijjártó called the ratification of Sweden's accession to the Alliance by the Hungarian parliament a technical issue.

Bloomberg writes that last week, Szijjártó said that Hungary would support Sweden's proposal to join the military alliance if Turkey signalled that it was also ready to approve Sweden's accession.
