Investigators found that Tu-22M3 bombers, which can fire X-22 missiles, are deployed at the Shaykivka air base. From this base, a high-rise building in Dnipro and a shopping centre in Kremenchuk were attacked.
Investigators claim that these bombers could have used paraffin-based fuel produced by Wintershell Dea and Gazprom.
How does cooperation work? Wintershall Dea develops the deposits of the Urengoy field, while Gazprom transports gas condensate to the Surgut processing plant.
A part of the gas condensate goes to Lukoil, Tatneft and Rosneft refineries. These refineries supplied fuel to the Shaykivka air base.
