German councillor who drew swastikas on cars with Ukrainian licence plates resigns
On the evening of August 29, the Baden-Baden AfD city councillor, who painted a swastika on cars with Ukrainian licence plates, announced his resignation.
This was reported by Spiegel.
It is a representative of the Alternative for Germany party, Martin Kühne.
The deputy wrote "F*ck UA" and drew a swastika on two cars with Ukrainian licence plates. He was fined. The incidents occurred in January and March this year.
He received a penalty order in the amount of 50 daily rates for "using the signs of anti-constitutional organisations" and insulting the car owners.
"He has not given any information to our group about the allegations made against him," said his group colleague Alexander Arpaschi. When asked, Kühne did not want to comment on the situation.
It will be recalled that earlier journalists established that the assistant to the deputy from the far-right Alternative for Germany party was cooperating with Russian special services.
