Four people killed by Russian shelling on May 14. Another 26 civilians sustained injuries

In the Kharkiv region bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, Slobozhanske, Liptsi, Vovchansk, Lyman and Borova came under fire. In Vovchansk, a 79-year-old woman was killed and two other people were wounded. Russian troops shelled Kharkiv six times, injuring 22 people, damaging residential buildings, an educational institution and civilian vehicles. 

In the Zaporizhzhia region which has been partially occupied in the south since 2022, Russian troops shelled Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka and Novoandriivka 268 times over the past day using multiple rocket launchers, artillery and drones. There were six reports of residential buildings being destroyed. No civilians were injured.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, southcentral Ukraine, one of the most important industrial regions of the country, Russians continue to attack the town of Nikopol next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located. One person was killed and another injured. Private houses, outbuildings and a power line were damaged.

In the Kherson region, partially occupied since 2022, Russians shelled Kherson, Antonivka, Mykhailivka, and Novooleksandrivka. A private house and a warehouse were damaged. One person died and another was injured as a result of Russian aggression.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops fired nine times at settlements in the Donetsk region partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine. There were no reports of casualties. Populated areas of Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts came under fire. Three houses were damaged in Veselyi Hai, and three more houses and an administrative building were destroyed in Mykolaivka. In the Chasiv Yar community, 10 private houses and a multi-storey building sustained damage.

Russians fired 72 times at the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region, bordering Russia in the north. The Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Myropillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhyne, Druzhba, and Seredyna Buda communities came under fire. In the Druzhbivka community, a local resident was injured as a result of the shelling from an MLRS.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, 64 explosions were recorded in the Semenivka, Snovske, Horodnia and Novhorod-Siverska communities.  One civilian was killed in Hremiach as a result of shelling.

In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, Russian troops shelled the waters of the Ochakiv community with artillery. No casualties were reported.
