In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians shelled a five-storey building in Kharkiv. Five people were killed. Twenty-five people were injured, including two children aged 12. A 3-storey administrative building and an open area were also hit. Demolition works are ongoing; there may be more people under the rubble.
Ruska Lozova, Vovchansk, Bohuslavka, Rohan, Novoosynove and Yurchenkove were also under fire. One person was killed, and five were injured, including a volunteer from Switzerland who was evacuating animals. Residential buildings, educational institutions, and shops were damaged.

On the night of May 31, the Russian army shelled the Yunakivka community.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region in the southcentral Ukraine, the Russians attacked the Nikopol district with kamikaze drones and artillery about two dozen times. Nikopol and the communities of Marhanets, Pokrovske, Myrove, and Chervonohryhorivka were hit. An industrial enterprise, private houses and two outbuildings were damaged. No one was killed or injured. At night, the Russian army fired artillery at Nikopol and the Marhanets community.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Russia and Belarus, the Russians attacked the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk communities with mortars and drones. No damage or casualties were reported. Twenty-seven explosions were recorded. No casualties were reported.
In the Mykolaiv region in the north of Ukraine, the Russians shelled Ochakiv with artillery. No casualties were reported.
In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians shelled eight settlements 372 times: Lobkove, Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka and Novoandriivka. There were four reports of residential buildings being destroyed. There were no casualties.
