Extraordinary General Assembly of the NOC of Ukraine to discuss a potential boycott of the Olympic Games in 2024
On February 3, an extraordinary General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine will consider a possible boycott of the Olympic Games if Russian and Belarusian athletes are allowed to return to international sports arenas.
"Obviously, everything is going to be done. This event will have serious consequences," said MP Zhan Beleniuk.
As a reminder, Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, allows athletes from Russia and Belarus to return to international sports.
Instead, Ukraine opposed the idea of Russian and Belarusian athletes competing under a neutral flag at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
