Estonian parliament passes motion in support of Ukraine's accession to NATO
92 members of the Estonian parliament have supported Ukraine's accession to NATO - the website of the Riigikogu.
The parliament notes that at the NATO summit in Vilnius on July 11-12, it is necessary to plan particular steps for Ukraine's accession to the Alliance.
They also stress the need to "decisively strengthen the security architecture that has served the security of the free and democratic countries of the Euro-Atlantic region" and expressed support for the Ukrainian people who are fighting for freedom.
"Ukraine's victory over the Russian Federation, which is waging an aggressive war, and Ukraine's further accession to NATO is the only way to ensure a rules-based world order, lasting peace and security for European democracies," the parliament states.
