Estonia expels Russian embassy employee

Estonia has declared an employee of the Russian Embassy persona non grata and is expelling him from the country — a statement published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Foreign Ministry noted that this embassy employee was involved in the direct and active undermining of Estonia's security and constitutional order, spreading propaganda justifying Russia's military actions and causing divisions in Estonian society.

The Russian diplomat has to leave the country by March 29.
