DIU discloses details of special operation in Crimea (Qirim)

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has disclosed details of a recent special operation in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the DIU press service.

Reconnaissance men of the Artan Special Forces unit landed on the western coast of the peninsula, as well as on the Tendra and Kinburn Spits. There was a battle between them and the Russians. There are casualties among the Russian military.

Another battle took place at sea when Ukrainian special forces were retreating after completing a combat mission. Then, the Russians tried to pursue the Ukrainians on surface fast patrol boats with air support.

"This is neither the first nor the last operation of the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine on the Crimean peninsula. Most of them will become known only in due course. This is a systematic, planned and coordinated work of all units involved. The enemy will experience the consequences of our work for a long time. Through our actions, we constantly remind the Russian invaders of the inevitability of liberating all the occupied territories," said Artan commander Viktor Torkotiuk.

It will be recalled that Russians are strengthening defences in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
