Denmark will not allow Russia to investigate explosions at Nord Stream
The Danish Foreign Minister said that he would not allow Russia to investigate the Nord Stream pipeline explosions — the Danish edition DR.
"Denmark, Sweden, and Germany are all rule-of-law states, and you can be sure of our investigations," said Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
He made the statement after Russian President Putin said he wanted Denmark to allow Russia to participate in the investigation.
The pipeline explosions occurred in Denmark's exclusive economic zone, and therefore the country can decide who can participate in the investigation.
"We told the Russians that we are investigating this thoroughly. And as soon as we do, we will announce the results of the investigation," the Foreign Minister added.
